Overview

Spice-Ex is a community market tracker for Dune Awakening auction-house information. We collect and process only the information needed to operate the site, protect the service, measure aggregate usage when permitted, and support optional payments or premium features.

Information We Process

When you use the site, we may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, timestamps, referral information, error logs, and security logs. If you contact us, donate, or subscribe to a premium feature, we may process the information needed to respond or provide that feature.

Market Data

Auction-house prices, item names, server names, listing counts, scan timestamps, player population snapshots, and derived market statistics are not treated as personal account records. They are used to build public market views, indexes, and downloadable manifests.

Local Preferences

Spice-Ex uses browser local storage to remember device preferences such as home server, region filter, display mode, search state, and analytics consent. These preferences remain on your device unless you clear browser site data.

Analytics

Optional analytics may be used to understand aggregate traffic, performance, and product usage. Where consent is required, non-essential analytics will not load until you accept them. You can change analytics consent through the Privacy Choices control in the site footer.

Payments

Donations and premium payments, if enabled, are processed by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe. Spice-Ex does not store full payment-card numbers. Payment providers may process billing, fraud-prevention, tax, and compliance data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Third-Party Data Sources

Spice-Ex may use third-party public or permissioned data sources for server status, population, or related game-market context. We credit these sources where appropriate and use them only to support the displayed market information.

Retention

Technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, debugging, analytics, and operational needs. Market scan history and derived statistics may be retained longer to support price history, trend calculations, and data-quality checks.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, including the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, California, and other jurisdictions, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, restrict, or object to certain personal-data processing. You may also have rights related to portability, consent withdrawal, or opting out of certain sharing where applicable.

Children

Spice-Ex is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the site and its data. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Contact

Privacy and support requests can be sent to the Spice-Ex operator at the contact address published on the site or domain records. Requests must include enough detail for us to understand the request and identify any relevant record.

Spice-Ex is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Funcom, Legendary, or Dune rights holders.
